Wow it is already Labor Day weekend. Makes you wonder where the summer went. We went to Teagan's open house for grade 1 the other night and I think she will do just fine. Her teacher is really nice and there are 5 children in the class that she knows from before.
I am going to be retiring soon and am looking forward to being home and not having to go out in the evenings. Especially in the winter, it will be wonderful. It will be so good to eat dinner a bit later. 4 o'clock is so early; by the time I get home at 8 I am hungry again.

- We live on the 45th parallel, so have a wonderful variety of seasons here. I am a retired Librarian & Graphic Artist. I watch my youngest grandchild while her Mama goes to work. What a delight! My husband is retired and builds violins as a hobby. He is teaching himself to play. Our dear Maggie died in September of 2013 and we have just got a new Brittany. So great to have a dog again, even though he is a ton of work. We can't ever replace our darling Maggie, but Toby is keeping my mind off her. What a love he is.
